Glaucoma
Glaucoma, a chronic and progressive optic nerve disease also called the "silent thief of vision," is one of the most serious and disabling eye diseases; in fact, if not properly treated, it can lead to blindness.
The main risk factor on which glaucoma therapies must act is intraocular pressure.
It is of paramount importance, therefore, to create an individualized therapy for each patient that allows the lowering of eye pressure to a level that stops visual deterioration.
